Club Fair

6-8 FEBRUARY 2022
INAUGURATED BY MS YUSRA NADWI

With different objectives and aims in mind, each club participated in Al-Waha's first Club Fair with zeal and passion.

From food stalls and art competitions to book sales and games, each club approached this major event with their unique concepts:

Visual Media Club: Their objective in the Club Fair was to raise funds to initiate the club's future projects one of which was "Paint The Town" where the funds raised would go into purchasing painting supplies to paint the school grounds. Along with arranging a food stall, The Visual Media Club also sold hand-made bookmarks.

Women's Entrepreneurial Club: In order to collect funds for their next project, “Product Launch”, the WEM club sold food items such as drinks, cake pops, waffles and smores. The most popular dish on the menu was Waffles, having the highest sales. All of the members participated in this event and tasks were divided and planned amongst each department. Furthermore, whilst aiming to not only collect funds but rather receive a head-start on our next project, the WEM club decided to promote product samples to our Club Fair customers so that they would become aware of our future endeavours. The event was a huge success.

Community Service Club: Their objective of the fundraiser was to raise funds by selling donated books and past paper booklets along with food packets, after which the funds collected were generously donated to a charity of our choice (Jeddah Orphans Association). We held a Book Mark making Competition and donated books that were not bought in the Book Sale to a charity organization that donated books to the less fortunate called Mawakeb Al Ajer.

STEM Club: The STEM Club integrated itself into the Club Fair with the intention to raise money in order to fund its prospective projects. The club sold Korean Fire Noodles and drinks while simultaneously merchandising on books to accomplish their goal.
